Balsa Wood, Chipboard, Metallic Paper, Acetate
Final architecture project at RISD Pre-College Program. Doubles as a rain structure that reuses rain water as drinking water and water used for washing bicycles. Metallic paper serves as metal. Acetate serves as glass. Split up into three sections. The straight running/biking paths covered with metallic slabs are separated in two by a water treatment tank. In the circular area, the side with corrugated walls serves as the bike washing area with individual stations. The side opposing it is the resting area, with a glass wall to promote nature and relaxation. When it rains, the water permeates the ground and is piped to the water treatment tank where it is then reused as drinking water and bike wash water.
